The City of Manteca encourages the community to get involved in the districting process by joining its Community Workshop on November 6 at 10 a.m. via Zoom, where participants will learn about the districting process and receive a demo on how to use newly available public mapping tools to draw draft district boundary maps.
The City holds the Second Public Hearing on district formation on Tuesday, October 19, in person and via Zoom. The Second Public Hearing will present background information on district formation and gather community feedback on communities of interest.
The City of Manteca, like hundreds of other cities across the state, is forming City districts to elect Council members. The City is launching the district formation process with a Public Hearing scheduled via Zoom on October 5 at 7:10 p.m. The first Public Hearing will provide background information on the districting process and inform community members on how they can get involved.
